Antigua Bodega Strikes Again

Antigua Bodega
Syrah 2009
San Juan, Argentina

Tasted at: Champion Wine Cellars, Seattle, WA
Price: $13.85/bottle

Smelled like: A garden
Tasted like: This Syrah was pretty good. It was sweet but also had a little something else going for it that I couldn't identify.

They say: Earthy, muddy aromas of prune and cheesy leather mark the nose. The palate is flat, with jammy, medicinal raspberry flavors and a quick finish.

Bottom line: I wouldn't drink it every day, but it wasn't mouthwash.
