The first of the wines I tasted out west!
Coiron 2012 Torrontes
Mendoza, Argentina
Tasted at: Champion Wine Cellars, Seattle, WA
Price: $12.85
Smelled like: Flowers
Taste: There was a lot of raspberry on the mid palate. It wasn't too bitter, and also not too sweet. Great full finish for the white.
They say: Light yellow in color with gold highlights. Bright citrus aroma with hints of peach, honey and white flowers excite the nose. On the palate nectarine, pineapple, create a bright lingering finish. Light bodied and refreshing with a vivacious acidity. If it is refreshing you want, this is the wine!
Bottom Line: Yum. Clean and fruity. Nice.
